Washington State women’s basketball looking for new head coach


PULLMAN, WA – The Washington State women’s basketball team might not have made any postseason tournaments, but they are still making news.

On Tuesday, Washington State athletics announced head coach June Daugherty is no longer the head coach of the women’s basketball team.

During her 11 seasons has head coach, she went 130-218, while making three women’s NIT tournaments.

This past season, the Cougs went 10-20 overall and only won three Pac-12 games.

The search for a new head coach will begin immediately, according to WSU Athletics.
