Will the WSU Cougars prove the polls wrong?

PULLMAN, WA - Cougar Football fans, the media members have spoken, and they feel you should curb your expectations for this year's squad.

The Washington State University football team has been selected as sixth place out of six teams in the PAC-12 North Division, according to a preseason poll of media members who cover the league.

The Cougs collected 33 total points in the poll, which was the 2nd lowest point total in the PAC-12 , trailing only to Colorado who tallied 28 points. In comparison, Oregon tallied a Conference high of 145 points and they are the favorite to win not only the PAC-12 North, but also the 2013 PAC-12 Conference Title. UCLA is predicted to win the PAC-12 South.
