WSU Coug Halliday will be passing quarterback

PULLMAN, WA - Though we may have had a good idea, we now know for sure who will be doing the passing for the Cougars.

The depth chart is out and junior Connor Halliday will start at quarterback for the Washington State University Football team. Head Coach Mike Leach's decision is based around Halliday's leadership, experience, and familiarity with the receivers to just name a few of the reasons as to why he'll be taking the snaps from under center.

His closest competition this spring through fall has been redshirt freshman Austin Apodaca, who played extremely well. Halliday and the Cougs will be taking on Auburn in Alabama this Saturday...kickoff is scheduled for 4 p.m.
