WSU rowing with work to do heading into PAC12 opener
PULLMAN, WA —
It’s a sport that doesn’t get any love at all but the WSU Cougar rowing team all that they do is compete and they do it at the highest level. The Cougars are ranked 15th in the nation, and they’ve occupied a top 20 spot for 90 consecutive weeks which is a program high. The Cougs are set to open PAC-12 competition at Oregon State this Saturday but the Cougs have plenty of work left to do.
"It's pretty clear that we have a little work to do,” said Cougar Rowing Coach, Jane Lariviere. “But I think so far we've gotten a little bit better with each race and I think that's really important. We still have lots of things to figure out and we're still trying to figure out where people are supposed to sit and what not but I think the attitudes are great."
