Young baseball players get advice and autographs from NAIA players

LEWISTON, ID - Athletes are often born under the bright lights of Harris Field.

Every year hundreds of kids attend the series to get autographs and advice from the players. However, it's also where many kids begin to dream of one day becoming a great baseball player themselves.

"I like watching my own position and then learning how to play my position better," said Riverside Elementary student Layton Wagner.

"A professional baseball player or a retire coach," said Riverside Elementary student Danny Orrock. "And in college either Lewis-Clark State College or a Division-1 school."

The East Boise All-Stars make a tradition out of coming to the series and supporting the Warriors. If your kids want to get autographs or talk to the players, there's time after each game for them to do so.
