Because of the smoke, Lapwai beats Troy on a Thursday night

The Lapwai Wildcats beat the Troy Trojans 30-16 on a Thursday night, moved from the originally scheduled Friday night because of the poor air quality.

Smoky conditions are all over the Pacific Northwest, and as result, it could leave more high school football games in jeopardy of rescheduling or even being cancelled.

The following games have been canceled or could potentially be cancelled:

GENESEE @ DEARY – CANCELED

LEWIS COUNTY @ KENDRICK – TBD

PULLMAN @ ROGERS (SPOKANE) -- TBD

SALMON RIVER @ PRAIRIE – TBD

CLEARWATER VALLEY @ KAMIAH – TBD

MOSCOW @ TIMBERLAKE – TBD

ODESSA-HARRINGTON @ GARFIELD-PALOUSE – TBD

The following game(s) have officially be rescheduled:

WALLACE @ POTLATCH – KIBBIE DOME AT 5:30 PM

NOTE: The games that are still to be determined could be moved to a different location, kick-off times changed or canceled completely.
