LAPWAI VS. PRAIRIE – Third luck is the charm for the Lapwai Wildcats.

Lapwai beat the Prairie Pirates 57-55 in overtime to win the White Pine division-1 title.

The Pirates beat the Wildcats twice this year but the Cats held a 12-point lead but the Pirates would chip away.

India Peary scored the go-ahead basket to give Prairie the 2-point lead with four seconds left.

But Glory Sobotta was fouled while shooting a three and she made 2/3 foul shots to send the team into OT.

Prairie will play Genesee for a state play-in.

PULLMAN VS. CLARKSTON – In the game that started out tight turned out to be a record setting night.

The Clarkston Bantams beat the Pullman Greyhounds 79-51 thanks to freshman Ashlyn Wallace scoring nine 3-pointers (tying the boys and girls single game school record) and setting the girls season record with threes made with 56.

Wallace also scored 35 points in the affair.
