Hounds heading to state

The Pullman Greyhounds are heading to the Yakima Valley SunDome, as the winners of the Great Northern League champions.

The Hounds beat the West Valley Eagles 58-47 on Valentine’s Day.

With the win, it means Pullman is undefeated in league play this season (unless they either Cheney or West Valley in the state tournament).

It was truly a game of runs, West Valley lead 18-12 at the end of the first, then Pullman’s Jake Wells showed why he was the Great Northern League player of the year.

He hit three 3-pointers to give the Hounds the 21-20 lead.

With a little over a minute left, Pullman’s Konner Kinkade it a 3-pointer that would ice the game for the Eagles.
