Lewiston drops season opener

In the first quarter… Lewiston's defense keeping the Senators in check, Connor Stamper sacked Daniel Morrison for a loss of 10.

Later in the quarter, The Bengals miss an opportunity. The ball comes out on the run and the Bengals can't recover the fumble, resulting in a 14-yard gain.

Later that drive, Troy Hanes gets into the backfield to sack Blake Menzel, losing five yards and forcing a 4th down.

The Senators elect (get it?) for a field goal on the first play of the 2nd quarter.

That goes wide left and we're still scoreless in the second.

Soon, Carson City put the first points on the board.

Abel Carter hits the corner, turning it into s a foot race.

He's gone for a 52-yard touchdown run.

Lewiston comes up short in season opener, Senators win 14-13.
