Lewiston senior signs with St. Martin’s
LEWISTON, ID —
It’s the season of signing and on Monday, Lewiston High School senior Demi Randall made it official about what she’s doing for college, announcing she’s going to play basketball for St. Martin’s University in Lacey, Washington.
The McDonald’s All-American nominee also garnered interest from NAIA schools, but ultimately chose the NCAA D2 school who was giving her a full-ride scholarship.
But now that this process is over, there’s no one happier to be done than Randall herself.
“I didn’t really enjoy the recruiting process just because it’s a big decision,” Randall said. “So, I kind of got emotional throughout the process, just because I didn’t know what I wanted to do. At the start, I wanted to go far and it got closer and I wanted to stay close. But I think this is a good distance.”
