Miles-Williams' all-around game leads Lapwai back to State

To the activity center where a couple of spots at state were up for grabs. First Genesee looking to hang with Lapwai and there’d be no hanging early on.

Lapwai Wildcats race out to a quick 9-0 lead on and-one’s from Ivory Miles-Williams and a little post up banker from Emmitt Taylor. But after falling behind by 15 the Bulldogs come to life. First Jeffery Waisanen, splash and then Trevor Stout with a hop, skip and a jump for two and Lapwai’s lead was down to 26-18.

But the Cats put their foot back on the peddle. Emmitt Taylor works in the paint for two more. He finished with a game high 18 and then more from Miles-Williams who works the give-n-go with Keanon Wheeler. Williams finished with a solid double-double registering 17 points and ten rebounds. He also added four assists for Lapwai who punches their ticket to Caldwell, 69-42.
