Sobotta, others named to All-State team

After verbally committing to the NAIA’s Corban University, Clarkston guard Jett Sobotta has been named to the Washington All-State Team.

Sobotta joins Prosser’s Scott Blakney as the only players named to the 2A team from this side of the state. The All-Star game will be held this Saturday beginning at 4:00p.m. at Mountlake Terrace High.

Sobotta averaged nearly 18 points per game to go along with four assists and four rebounds per game for the Bantams. He also earned GNL MVP honors this season.

Colton’s Grant Kinzer was also named to the All-State team while Pomeroy’s Kacey Halbert and Colton Wildcat guards’ Kendyl Druffel and Meghan Devorak will be off to King’s High for Saturday’s All-State girls game.
