The 11th annual Twin County United Way Golf Invitational was held Friday at the Bryden Canyon Golf Course. 23 teams participated in the four-person scramble. It kicked off at noon.

It was presented by the Clearwater River Casino, and raised more than $12,000 to support kindergarten readiness efforts in our community.

Samantha Skinner, Twin Co. United Way Director said, “A lot of other folks make this possible so we're just thankful that golfers come out they golf they have a great time and at the end of the day we're raising money so kiddos are ready for kindergarten in the fall.”

Kindergarten Boot Camp is a summertime program gives four and five-year-old children an inside look at what school will be like and teaches essential skills needed to be ready for school.

Next year’s tournament is scheduled for Friday before Father’s Day, June 15, 2018.
