Lewiston seniors get honored


LEWISTON, ID – All the spring sports are done for Lewiston High School and that means it’s time to celebrate the seniors.

“It’s not easy,” Lewiston Athletic Director Corey Williams said. “The demand that we put on these kids from coaches from everything we got going year around, multiple sports. For them to excel and be able to go to the next level, it’s a big deal.”

On Monday, 14 LHS seniors who are playing college sports were recognized.

They were also treated Dutch Bros and given a limo ride (yes, to Dutch Bros.)

Here are the athletes recognized:

- Nick Blume – Montana Tech (football)

- Madison Stoddard – Rocky Mountain College (volleyball)

- Maddie Haas – Idaho (soccer)

- Kelsey Wilkins – North Idaho CC (soccer)

- Tori Frei – North Idaho CC (soccer)

- Kellie Earle – Idaho State (cheer)

- Cameron Cady- Univ. of Providence (basketball)

- Morgan Genzer – Walla Walla CC (basketball)

- Demi Randal – Saint Martin’s (basketball)

- Brayden Wilson – Lewis-Clark State (basketball)

- Chris Poweel – Columbia Basin College (baseball)

- Cheyenne Rose – Spokane Falls Community College (softball)

- Treyton Forsman – University of Jamestown (golf)

- Miriam Ames – Lewis-Clark State (cross country)
