Astros walk-off over Mariners in 13


Seattle Mariners still looking for their first win of the season tonight (Wednesday) in the Lone Star State to take on Houston when in the fifth inning the Mariners brand new shortstop Jean Segura goes oppo and Seattle had their very first lead of the season at 2-nil.

Seventh inning now, Houston looking to knot this thing up and George Springer shoots this liner into left field, two runs come on to score and the Mariners all of a sudden had a game on their hands.

We skip ahead to the 13th inning, nobody out and Brad Peacock is gonna walk Kyle Seager with the bags juiced to force in a run. Mariners lead but a couple batters later, still 3-2 and ugh…Jarrod Dyson strikes out. The M’s only get one and wouldn’t ya know, bottom 13 and two on and one gone!

George Springer, off chase De Jong, Astros win it 5-3. They’ll go for the sweep of the Mariners Thursday night; Ariel Miranda gets the ball for Seattle.
