Mariners bounce back, dump Tigers 8-0

The Seattle Mariners got their butt whooped on Tuesday night, surrendering 19 runs to the Detroit Tigers but looking to slow the Tigers offensive onslaught would only be made easier with James Paxton on the mound in the motor city.

Daniel Norris toeing the rubber tonight for Detroit and he’d get rocked! Top two, no score…no longer! Jean Segura with a rocket up the middle. Mike Zunino will come around, one-nothing Mariners. Next batter Guillermo Heredia…Jean Segura was off on the first move and well Guillermo says, take your time my friend. A long ball for Heredia is his second on the season.

Mariners had built a three-run lead. Now back to Paxton, top ten in the league in ERA and he didn’t have many problems with the Tigers tonight as he strikes out Dixon Machado and then James Paxton gets Andrew Romine a swinging.

Seven shutout for James with nine K’s and then Nelson Cruz delivers the knockout blow in the sixth. Mariners go up six-nada on the blast from Cruz and win it, 8-0.
