After pitchers and catchers reported last week, Tuesday marked the first practice in which all Seattle Mariner players and coaches reported for spring training. The player with the most attention on him? The M's newest and biggest acquisition, second baseman Robinson Cano. The $240 million dollar man spent time not only practicing but getting to know his teammates and coaches, and getting used to his new city.
"Feels good, was exciting you know," said Cano. "Get to spend time with teammates, coaches...you know, new team, all new faces. Faces I've played against with, now we're on the same team and I had a lot of fun today."
Cano and the Mariners will take on the San Diego Padres in an exhibition charity game on Thursday, February 27th.
