A star on the field and at the plate, Robert McIntosh does it all

ASOTIN, WA - Nine years of playing baseball has earned Asotin senior Robert McIntosh four varsity letters.

"I like it all," said Robert. "Baseball's just fun to be around. You get to know a lot of guys."

Robert does it all. Hit, field and pitch. When he isn't found diving in the infield, he's throwing batters out at the plate.

"Coach always says stay low in the zone so that is what I'm thinking all the time- throw it in the mitt," said Robert.

Robert is hopeful he can continue playing baseball in college while studying to become a dentist. He said his dad has been his inspiration.

"We'd go out and throw the ball around and hit a little bit," said Robert.
"I really liked it."

The competitive side of Robert doesn't like to lose.

"Just knowing that you're better than the other person," said Robert.
