"My dad played football when he was younger, so we started pretty early," said Hill.
Which obviously paid off as Hill led the Kubs to a 2012 Idaho Class 1A Division 1 State Title, leading statistically in nearly every category, making him a huge play maker for the team.
"You just have to look at some of the statistics he puts out on the football field," said Ball. "He's definitely deserving in that manner but not only is he a great football player, he's just as good of person in the classroom and outside the classroom."
Possessing a 3.8 GPA, this athlete is not only good at school, he actually enjoys it.
"I'd say I'm a pretty good student," said Hill. "I really do like school. I'm a science guy."
Good at school, a fan of science, spectacular on the field but wait, there's more.
"I'm a sprinter so I run the 100, the 200, the 400 and I usually run a relay like the four by four," said Hill. "And last year I actually won state in all those in my division"
Which makes sense considering prior to the state title game, he rushed for more than 1500 yards averaging over 10 yards per carry, impressive stats at any level.
"I really do have a passion for this game and I can't stand to lose," said Hill.
Finishing the season on top was all this prep athlete could wish for and being a part of a community that is so supportive of the Kubs makes it that much better.
"It's awesome to be a part of our community where everybody really loves everybody on the football team," said Hill. "We're just a big happy family I guess."
