Former Colton quarterback goes to Canada
COLTON, WA —
A former Colton Wildcat is taking his talents north of the border.
Josh Straughan signed with the Winnepeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League. He's signed to the team's practice squad on Wednesday.
While Straughan was at Colton, he threw for more than 11,000 yards and scored 141 touchdowns. Last season, he played his only year of Division-1 football, as a graduate transfer at Southern Illinois University.
Long ways away from Colton, but still, congrats on the signing.
