Sounders look for elusive first title against Toronto
SEATTLE, WA —
And finally tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon the MLS Cup will be played north of the boarder. The Seattle Sounders travel to Toronto for the winner take all Championship Game.
The Sounders are looking to become the second straight Cascadia team to win the title, with the Portland Timbers winning it all last year. Players were asked about weather conditions in Toronto going into the game.
“Fortunately, both teams have to do it, it's not going to be an advantage to either one of us,” said Zach Scott, defender. “It's going to be tough and it would have been fantastic to play in front of our fans in much better weather than that.”
The high in Toronto for tomorrow (Saturday) will be 31 degrees with some snow showers in the afternoon. Kickoff is schedule for 5:00PM and you can catch that on FOX.
