Travis Long signs with Philadelphia Eagles

PULLMAN, WA - Some good news for a former Cougar football player, as one of them has a chance to play on Sundays with the big boys.

Former Washington State University Linebacker, Travis Long, signed a free-agent contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Long was a four-time all-conference selection while starting all 47 games he appeared in for the Cougs. The six-foot-four, 250 pound linebacker earned an All-PAC-12 Honorable Mention honor last year despite suffering a season-ending ACL injury. Following the season, Long was named the Cougars' Defensive MVP.
