Seahawks retain CB Shead with one-year pact
SEATTLE, WA —
The Seahawks also made a move to lock up cornerback Deshawn Shead on Friday, agreeing to a one-year, $1.5-million-dollar deal with the Hawks.
Shead started 15 games opposite Richard Sherman last season and played at a high level, but he suffered a torn ACL and meniscus in his left knee in the divisional round of the playoffs. He finished last season with an interception, forced fumble and 14 passes defended.
