Seahawks sign former Vikings kicker Blair Walsh


Seattle kicker and free agent-to-be Steven Hauschka has been so reliable for the Hawks over the last five season or so, but 2016, that wasn’t the case. Many reports stated the Seahawks would let Hauschka walk and (Thursday) today, that plan came to a realization.

Thursday the Seahawks signed what may turn out to be their new kicker next year, agreeing to a deal with former Minnesota Viking Blair Walsh. Walsh became infamous in the 2015 NFC Wildcard Playoff game with the righty missed a potential game-winning field goal from 27-yards out against the Seahawks, allowing Seattle to advance to the divisional round.
