Seahawks start fall camp without Marshawn Lynch

RENTON, WA - Well look who's back on the's your 2014 Super Bowl champions!

Pete Carroll and the Seattle Seahawks officially started their fall camp over the weekend and plan on picking up right where they left off. Though they're not in full pads yet, that doesn't mean the aggression wasn't there as coaches have been going over the basics while testing out rookies and veterans alike to make sure they stayed in shape over the summer.

While fans saw many new faces out there, one familiar face was not seen as running back Marshawn Lynch is currently holding out for a new contract, something Coach Carroll isn't too thrilled with.

"Disappointed that he's not here but his choice," said Carroll. "I'm really focused on the guys that are here and have been working really hard and all. Marshawn was a big part of this plan and just a couple years back we made a big statement by making a big effort for him and we wish he was here now but this is a tremendous opportunity for the guys that are getting their shot. You know, Robert Turbin and Christine Michael they're really fired up and excited about this opportunity and will try to take full advantage of it."

We'll keep you updated on beast mode going into hold-out-mode as we all hope Lynch and the hawks do what it takes to get him back on the field as soon as possible. In the meantime, we'll all wait anxiously to see the pads go on and the hitting begin.
