Seattle signs former Titans DB Perrish Cox
SEATTLE, WA —
Deshawn Shead’s torn left ACL back on Saturday went relatively under the radar after the Seahawks season came to an end, but if Shead isn’t able to return in time for the start of next season, the Seahawks feel they’ve found his replacement.
Seattle officially signed veteran DB Perrish Cox on Friday. The 30-year-old who broke into the league with the Denver Broncos started 22 games over the past two seasons in Tennessee before being released in November.
Cox had a short stint with Seattle back in 2013 when he appeared in two games for the Hawks before being released. Cox will likely compete for a roster spot with the Seahawks next summer.
