Offensive tackle Eric Winston has signed a one-year deal with the Seattle Seahawks. The 30-year old, who also happens to have been elected as the NFL Player's Association President earlier this year, played with the Arizona Cardinals last season and started all 16 games.
The eight-year NFL veteran could very well fill the right tackle spot that was taken by Breno (jock-a-meany) Giacomini last season after he signed with the Jets in the off-season. Though he's not guaranteed the starting position, he will compete with second-year offensive lineman Michael Bowie and rookie Justin Britt. In his eight-years, Winston has started 119 consecutive games with the Texans, Chiefs and Cardinals, the second-longest streak for an active player.
