Hannah Doyle’s work ethic earns her Academic All-Star honors
CLARKSTON, WA —
Hannah Doyle is a busy senior at Clarkston High School with a 4.0 GPA. When asked how she maintains it, she admits it's all in her work ethic.
"A lot of hard work, a lot of studying, a lot of late nights, getting extra help in the mornings," Hannah said.
Hannah is part of national honor society, and plays for the CHS softball team.
"I love being part of a team structure and really contributing to wins that we get." She is also secretary of FFA, where she gets to raise pigs. "Last night we had one go into labor, so we had to be there all night long help the mother through," said Hannah.
She has turned her passion for FFA into a way to help the community. "I donated half of my proceeds to LUCC, which is a non-profit to cure cancer, pancreatic cancer. It's a local organization."
In all, she donated $500 from her prized FFA pigs. "It's just kind of who I am, I love helping other people. It just felt really good to know that I can make a difference."
Congratulations Hannah, you're this week’s Academic All-Star.
