Hannah Latella strives to be a positive role model at CHS

Hannah Latella just began her senior year at Clarkston High School. "Just being older a lot of kids look up to you, so just knowing that anything I do it can be a positive example for people," she said.

Being a positive example is something she takes very seriously. She holds several leadership roles including treasurer of ASB, president of National Honor Society and captain of the volley ball team. "People can talk to me, I want our school to be a positive place and fun place and a place where people feel at home."

On top of maintaining a 3.99 GPA, playing volleyball, and participating in theater, Hannah stays busy outside of school with dance. "It's just something where I can work on improving basic skills but also I just think it's a lot of fun because I love music and I love dancing."

And for the future she's looking into going to Washington State University, and becoming a teacher. "Either teaching English as a foreign language, so maybe going to another country and teaching English, or teaching German"

Congratulations Hannah, you're this week's Academic All-Star.
