Rosario Dawson, Zoe Kravitz & Susan Sarandon to party for Bernie Sanders in NYC
Rosario Dawson, Susan Sarandon and Zoe Kravitz are preparing to party in New York City to rally support for U.S. presidential candidate Bernie Sanders.
The ladies will be joined by Sting's actress daughter Mickey Sumner and "Girls" star Gaby Hoffmann at The Flash Factory on Monday night, as they present Bern NY Bern!.
The Call To Action event will feature impassioned speeches by the celebrity political activists and performances by bands Wild Belle and Chappo, in an effort to mobilize support for the Democratic Senator for Vermont, ahead of the New York primary on April 19.
Dawson and Sarandon have been vocal about their support for Sanders in recent weeks, with "Sin City" beauty Dawson, the co-founder of the Voto Latino political organization, joining Calle 13's Rene Perez, aka Residente, and the presidential wannabe at a rally in the Bronx on Thursday.
Sanders has also received support from Run the Jewels rapper Killer Mike on the campaign trail, while dance star Diplo has allowed his 2013 tune Revolution to be used as the soundtrack for the politician's new campaign advertisement, titled It's A Revolution.
Sanders is fighting Hillary Clinton, who has the star support of George Clooney, Katie Perry, Demi Lovato, Barbra Streisand, and Lena Dunham, for the Democratic Party's candidacy ahead of this year's general election.
They're both trying to beat Republican Party front-runner Donald Trump to the White House.
