PULLMAN, WA — A former Pullman cardroom employee accused of stealing from Mr. Z’s Casino has plead guilty. Over $10,000 in cash and thousands in gambling chips was stolen.
Loren Maxey, 33, of Moscow plead guilty Friday to four counts of Felony 2ND Degree Burglary and one count of Felony 2nd Degree theft.
Maxey used the stolen chips to gamble in the casino. He was arrested by Washington State Gambling Commission agents in February.
He is set to be sentenced later this month.
The standard sentence for each burglary count is one to three months, and second-degree theft is punishable by up to a year in jail.
