LC Valley Healthcare Foundation distribute money to grant recipients
LEWISTON, ID —
In just a few days, local non-profits will begin projects to improve health-related services.
The Lewis-Clark Valley Healthcare Foundation granted over $250,000 on Wednesday.
“Assistance organizations such as food banks and senior nutrition programs where funding senior citizen organization groups that address people who are low-income but have health needs. There's just a wide range of programs being funded,” Mark Havens, LCVH Foundation Chairman said.
The foundation was established by the Idaho Attorney General in agreement with Ascension Health and RCCH Healthcare Partners after the sale of St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.
Lewis-Clark Valley Healthcare Foundation benefits the health needs in the nine-county region that St. Joseph’s hospital once served.
