It's that time of year again when the community starts preparing for one of the biggest springtime events of the year- the 62nd annual Avista NAIA World Series.

Lewis and Clarke State College is calling all singers to come front and center for the National Anthem auditions.

On Thursday, April 26, musicians and singers will have the chance to audition to perform in front of roughly 5,000 baseball fans.

Auditions are from 4 PM to 6 PM

Singers will audition without music, unless they’re auditioning with another musician.

Those who participated last year are urged to try out again.

Although people don’t have to register for a time slot, it’s a requirement that they know the words to the national anthem.

If chosen, the singer and/or musician will perform the anthem before games throughout the series.

Judges will make their decision following week.

Those who don’t make he cut, could still be asked to perform at other sports games throughout the 2018-2019 season.
