LEWISTON, ID — The Lewis-Clark Valley Healthcare Foundation will be awarding a $250,000 in grants to local non-profits and governmental entities interested in improving health, wellness, or disease prevention.
Mark Havens, Chairman of the Board of Community Advisors explains. “The foundation hopes to partner with regional organizations and communities to increase and improve health and wellness initiatives throughout our nine county region.”
The nine county region is in north central Idaho, southeastern Washington, and Wallowa County, Oregon.
Chairman Mark Havens says the Lewis-Clark Valley Healthcare Foundation is the only one of its kind on the nation to serve parts of three states.
Those organizations eligible to apply should be non-profit or government entities if used exclusively for charitable purposes.
