Lewiston School Dist. forum seeks public input for next superintendent

LEWISTON, ID - The search for a new superintendent of Lewiston public schools is underway.

A public forum to learn what characteristics Lewiston residents want in their next superintendent was held at Lewiston High School earlier Wednesday. This was the first chance for the hiring consultants to gain input from the public.

"What are the great things you know about the schools or a school in the Lewiston area?" said McPherson and Jacobson Consultant William Dean.

William Dean and his wife Barb are part of McPherson and Jacobson, a consulting firm out of Omaha, Nebraska. They have completed a total of 15 searches including one for a district that had over 300,000 students.

The position closes March 22nd and Thursday will be the final open forum. It will take place at LHS at 4p.m.
