Man charged with aggravated DUI pleads innocent
Now to the latest in a crash that sent a car into a daycare’s yard in the Lewiston Orchards.
Apollo Lawyer appeared in court for his arraignment. He plead not guilty.
The crash happened back on June 5th, and Wednesday he answered to the formal charge of aggravated DUI.
Police say Apollo Lawyer was heavily intoxicated with both drugs and alcohol when the car he was driving crashed into the Wonder World Daycare’s playground area.
No children were hurt, but multiple people were taken to the hospital with injuries.
Lawyer’s arraignment was brief.
"Mr. Lawyer how do you plead to those charges guilty or not guilty.”
"Not guilty,” replied Apollo Lawyer.
Apollo Lawyer’s trial is marked for February 19 of next year.
Aggravated DUI carry a maximum 15-year sentence in prison, along with up to $5,000 in fines.
