A Pullman man is dead after he sustained injuries in a crash on Old Spiral Highway Wednesday evening.

Witnesses said they saw silver 2002 Jeep Liberty roll off the road at the top of the hill and dropped down a steep cliff before resting on its top.

Idaho State Police said Jameson A. Gordon-Krohling, 20, was traveling north when his vehicle veered left.

He wasn’t wearing his seatbelt and was ejected from the jeep, police said. His vehicle rolled several times.

He was pronounced dead at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.

ISP Sergeant Chris Middleton said, “Myself and a Nez Perce County deputy began CPR. Not long after that, paramedics arrived less than two minutes before we started.”

The cause of the crash is not known at this time. The next of kin has been notified.
