The Nez Perce County Prosecutor's Office is asking for the public's help in locating Ronnie Gene Fortson.

Fortson, 51, pled guilty to Stalking in the First Degree, a felony, last December. He was sentenced by Idaho District 2 Judge Michelle Evans on Thursday.

During the sentencing hearing, Judge Evans sentenced Mr. Fortson to a RIDER program of up to 365 days and the remaining time of five years of probation if successful.

Fortson was ordered to turn himself into the Nez Perce County Detention Center by March 2 at 5 p.m. to begin his sentence.

However, he failed to do so.

Judge Evans issued a no bond felony arrest warrant on Friday.
