Moscow: New Farmer's Market Programs

The Moscow Farmer’s Market is introducing another new program this Saturday. There will be a local chef demonstration. People will get a chance to sample the creation and discuss with the chef.

Another program that has been quick started this year is POP, The Power of Produce. Kids age four to twelve can try fruits and vegetables for free if they join POP Club, they also get five market dollars to spend.

In order to make fresh produce available for everyone they will be accepting EBT, State of Washington WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) and SFMNP (Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program) checks.

The market runs every Saturday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m.
