New Hampton Inn has already seen full occupancy after being open for 3 weeks


Turning to local development and the economy, you may have seen the lights at night overlooking Lewiston from the Nez Perce Grade. After over a year of being under construction, the new Hampton Inn Hotel is now open for business.

Here’s an exclusive look just for you.

The doors are finally opento the brand new Hampton Inn Hotel in Lewiston.

“Thank you for calling the Lewiston Hampton Inn, this is Hannah how can I help you today.”

This hotel is one out of 21-hundred worldwide, owned by the Hilton Hotel franchise, and managers say, this hotel has already seen full occupancy. They’ve only been open three weeks so far.

"We have seen our first sell out for the Oregon Duck, WSU game and that was exciting for us, we are hoping for another sellout this weekend," said Randi Fitzgerald, General Manager.

This contemporary styled hotel features a host of amenities.

“The hotel has 100 guest rooms, we also have an indoor pool, fitness center, we have complimentary breakfast every morning for all of our guests, we have a gift shop that we have wine and beer as well as souvenirs and sodas and snacks,” said Fitzgerald.

The Hampton Inn in Lewiston employs 25 fulltime staff members and they have three different room styles available.

"We feature rooms both for families with two queen beds, we have rooms for business travelers with one king, and we also have some rooms that feature a king bed with a pullout sofa that is perfect for traveling families," said Fitzgerald

Hotel Manager, Randi Fitzgerald says her favorite part of the hotel is the view overlooking our valley’s cityscape, rolling hills, and blue rivers.

"We of course have the most beautiful view of Lewiston out our back window and patio here," said Fitzgerald.

Hotel officials say prices can range depending on the time of the year, but on average a room can go anywhere between $150.00 to $180.00 per night.
