Pet of the Week Bear Wins with Toothless Grin
LEWISTON, ID —
Update: Bear has been adopted! If you're still looking for your next furry friend, check out helpinghandsrescue.org or https://www.facebook.com/HelpingHandsRescue/
With his big toothless grin, ten-year-old poodle mix Bear makes an interesting first impression.
When he came in to helping hands, Bear's mouth was full of rotten teeth. They all had to be pulled, but it doesn't give him any trouble eating even crunchy food.
Bear is a quiet and relaxed dog, most likely to be found curled up at your feet. Clip on a leash, however, and he comes to life. He loves to take walks before posting up next to you to watch TV.
Bear would do best in a low-key home where he can just spend quiet time next to his person. He's OK with dogs and indoor cats, but prefers to hang out by himself.
If you'd like to give Bear a loving forever home, you can find adoption applications at helpinghandsrescue.org or call (208) 743-3157.
You can also visit Helping Hands at adoption day, every Saturday from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. at Petco.
