An arrest has been made in the weekend fires at WSU fraternities.

Isaac Scott DePaolo, 19, has been arrested in Cheney.

He was booked into the Whitman County Jail.

Detectives developed leads using surveillance video and interviews with Theta Chi Fraternity members to lead them to DePaolo.

DePaolo is not a WSU student, and a motive for the arson has not been determined, but alcohol is believed to be a factor.

DePaolo is facing multiple charges.

He is booked for arson in the first-degree for the fire at Theta Chi Fraternity, arson in the second-degree for a dumpster fire, arson in the second-degree for a vehicle fire, and vehicle prowl for breaking into the vehicle to start the fire.

The 19-year-old is currently being held without bail by the Whitman County Superior Court.
