Pullman Firefighters Second Annual Firefighter’s Ball benefits Community

In Pullman the fire department is getting ready to put on their Second Annual Firefighter’s Ball. The Firefighter’s Ball in Pullman is the Pullman Firefighter’s charitable Foundation annual fundraiser.

Last year more than 160 people attended and the event raised more than $5,000. Firefighters say everyone in the community is invited, and those who come will be helping their neighbors.

“So the reason we put on this event, it's a yearly fundraiser, it's our biggest fundraiser for the charitable foundation for the firefighters local here and we use that money for a bunch of different services that we try to provide for the community,” said Mark Johnson event chairman.

The formal event features dinner, no host bar with first drink included in the ticket price, and dancing.

The mission of the foundation is to support the needs of firefighter families and the community.
