Updates: January Pets of the Week

We started off a new year of Pet of the Week by introducing you to Mac. This McNab shepherd is described as the perfect family dog, ready to explore in an active home.

It took a couple weeks, but this handsome guy found the perfect match.

Another successful start to 2018 - Jetta found her forever home. You'll remember this two year old rat terrier as one who never stopped moving.

Brother and sister pair Rose and Joe were featured in mid-January; Joe has found a home, but his sister is still searching. Rose is a five year old Pomeranian-poodle mix and is in need of a little TLC. Helping Hands is helping treat an infection and Rose also has an upcoming surgery for her hind knees. This little girl is ready to have her life turned around and spend her days surrounded by love.

Our last pet of the week for January was Bailey. This unique pup is nine years young and has all the pep of a puppy.

Bailey's new year is off to the right foot, or paw, as he's been adopted.

Also in January, we revisited one of our previous Pets of the Week in our first adoption success story. Little Arnie is one happy camper in the Branson home, where he's been a part of their family since 2015.

If you have a Pet of the Week adoption success story, let us know! And if you'd like to adopt, you can find applications at or call (208) 743-3157. You can also visit Helping Hands at adoption day, every Saturday from 10 A.M. to 2 P.M. at Petco.
