Washington State University officials said Thursday that athletic staff member and former Quarterback Jason Gesser did not violate policy.
He is accused of multiple incidents of sexual misconduct and harassment.
Jason Gesser is the Assistant Director of the Cougar Athletic Fund.
According to a report published Thursday by the Daily Evergreen, WSU's newspaper, accusations date back to 2014 and as recent as 2017 against Gesser.
An inquiry was launched by the Office for Equal Opportunity Inquiry in January.
The university released a statement by President Kirk Schultz and Athletic Director Pat Chun Thursday.
It said the school takes allegations of sexual misconduct seriously.
The statement also said a thorough review was launched by the university’s Office for Equal Opportunity once university administrators became aware in December 2017.
“On multiple occasions, investigators interviewed or attempted to interview all those allegedly involved. Following a comprehensive evaluation of the information available, the Office for Equal Opportunity found no violation of university policy,” the statement read.
