Cougs win Battle of the Palouse 2018

PULLMAN, WA -- Washington State men's basketball remains undefeated at home, winning the 2018 Battle of the Palouse against border rival Idaho.

Cougars started the second half on an 11-0 run and the got past the Vandals, winning 90-70.

With less than four-minutes left in the half, the Cougs and Vandals traded three-point baskets.

WSU lead 45-40, going into the break.

Freshman CJ Elleby scored 20 points paired with eight rebounds.

Robert Franks had a game-high 22 points.

For Idaho, four Vandals scored double-digit points.

Trevon Allen lead Idaho in scoring with 17 and Geno West had 11, coming off the bench.

The Vandals are now 3-5 on the season.
