Idaho men’s basketball won’t participate in a postseason tournament
MOSCOW, ID —
With college basketball tournaments starting this week, a team that’s won 22 games during the regular season, won’t be playing in any of those tourneys.
The Idaho men’s basketball decided they won’t play in either the CBI or CIT tournaments, both the Vandals have played in the past two seasons.
But the seniors on the squad had other plans.
According to the Idaho Athletic department, the class of 2018 chose not to play either of those tourneys.
Idaho ended its season 22-9 and 14-4 in Big Sky play.
The Vandals saw an early exit in the Big Sky tournament, losing to Southern Utah on Thursday.
