LC Valley Loggers put up big numbers in loss


The LC Valley Loggers are now in the second half of its season.

This Sunday, the Loggers will take on the Whitworth Pirates on the road.

This past weekend, the Loggers traveled over 1600 miles to Hancock, Michigan, taking on the Finlandia Lions.

LCV would lose 54-44 but they still had themselves a pretty decent day despite the deficit.

the Loggers had 21 out of 30 players travel, due to injuries and other commitments.

Quarterback Robert Roth completed 22 of his 40 passes, threw for 468 yards and had four touchdowns.

Roth also had 56 rushing yards with a touchdown, scoring five total touchdowns on the day.

The Loggers receivers had themselves a big day as well.

Raheem Harvey caught nine passes for 241 yards and a touchdown.

Cardell Jones had seven catches for 170 yards and he had a touchdown as well.

On the defensive side of the ball, Levi Irish had 11 tackles, while Koby Thrasher had nine.
