LCSC Warriors finds its groove

Both the Lewis-Clark State mens’ and womens’ basketball teams beat Montana-Northern on Thursday, both scoring 77 point in their victories.

In the women’s game, the women came out swing, scoring the first basket of the game, and never looked back.

But the Sky Light would get some early baskets of their own but they just couldn’t keep up with the Warriors.

Peyton Souvenir almost had a double-double scoring 10 points while getting eight assists.

Jossilyn Blackman got her first career double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

This game snapped a two-game losing streak for the women.

The men on the other hand, kept their spot on-top of the Frontier Conference, beating Montana-Northern 77-68.

The game was back-and-forth in the first half but the Warriors pulled away in the second.

The men were successful in back-to-back tough Frontier match-ups.
