Warriors sweep top honors


The Lewis-Clark State Warriors wrapped up the 2018 regular season this past weekend, and as expected, LC racked up a ton of postseason honors.

The team swept the top honors in the NAIA West. The player of the year, coach of the year, and pitcher of year, all Warriors.

Raymond Pedrina won player of the year. Tyler Burch won pitcher of the year and now they are both eligible for NAIA player of the year.

Jeremiah Robbins won coach of the year.

The Warriors finished 38-11 overall and 26-6 in conference play, ending the season splitting a two-game series with Whitworth.

They weren’t the only Warriors honored.

Pedrina and Burch also made the All-NAIA West team.
